Denville Senior Citizens plan trip

Cape Cod is the September destination for members of the Denville Senior Citizens. Non-members are invited too (subject to availability).

The 4 day/3 night trip is planned for September 2 - 5. The cost is $320 per person, double occupancy. Deposits are due by June 1. Call Marion at 973-625-0898 for single or triple rates, and more information.

public hearing notice: field expansion project at veteran's memorial park

TAKE NOTICE that the Township of Denville is proposing to change the purpose or use of 12.5 acres of Veterans Memorial Park from Passive Use to Active Use:

The proposed expansion is to add 3 (three) All Purpose Playing Sized Fields, 2 (two) Softball Fields and Parking.

Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:36-25.6(a)1, a hearing to obtain public comment on this proposed change of purpose or use will be held at The Denville Municipal Building at 1 St. Mary's Place, on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 7:30pm.

All information regarding the proposed change in purpose or use is available for public inspection at the Denville Municipal Building in the Recreation Office.

Please send a copy of any comments submitted on this request to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Green Acres Program, Bureau of Legal Services and Stewardship P.O. Box 412, Trenton, NJ 08625-0412.

Public comment on this proposed change in purpose or use will be accepted during the public hearing or until June 3, 2008. On or after June 4, 2008, the Township of Denville may take formal action to approve the proposed change in purpose or use.
