Blood Pressure Screenings
- Held in the nurse's office at the Health Department
- Held between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
- Please call before coming in to be sure the nurse is available.
SMAC Blood Tests
- Sequential Multiple Analysis Computerized (S.M.A.C.) is one of several blood tests that analyze combinations of blood components. A S.M.A.C. profile gives the physician an overview of how body systems are working. The results are used by the physician in conjunction with an individual medical history and physical findings as a diagnostic tool.
- Denville residents over 18 years are eligible for one SMAC blood screening per year.
- An authorization form must be signed by your doctor prior to the screening.
- Screenings are by appointment only. Call the Health Office to sign up.
- Location: Senior Center on Reoute 53
- When: The first Wednesday of each month. No screenings in July, August and December).
Female and Male Cancer Screenings
- Held at St. Clare's Outpatient Department
- Held twice a year
- Male screenings include Prostate examination and PSA blood tests.
- Female screenings include gynecological examinations, par smears, and breast examinations.
