- Brush must be tied in bundles no longer than 6 feet.
- Branches may be no greater than 6 inches in diameter.
- Leaves must be in biodegradable paper bags (Denville Ordinance #21-06) or rigid containers (garbage cans or cardboard boxes).
- Biodegradable paper leaf bags will be picked up with the leaves. (Biodegradable paper bags can be purchased at any home improvement center or hardware store.)
- No curbside pick up of grass. Grass may be brought to the recycling center.
- Materials must be at the curb by 7 a.m. Monday of the scheduled week.
- Each street is picked up only once during the scheduled week. Which day is governed by pickup volume.
- Christmas trees will be picked up by ward during January and February at curbside.

- Brush pickup is suspended. Leaves only are picked up.
- Ward 1: Weeks of November 6, December 4
- Ward 2: Weeks of November 13, December 11
- Ward 3: Weeks of November 20, December 18
- Ward 4: Weeks of October 23, November 27, December 25
