April to September

General Information

1. Brush must be tied in bundles no longer than 6 feet.
2. Branches may be no greater than 6 inches in diameter.
3. Leaves must be in biodegradable paper bags (Denville Ordinance #21-06) or rigid containers (garbage cans or cardboard boxes).
4. Biodegradable paper leaf bags will be picked up with the leaves. (Biodegradable paper bags can be purchased at any home improvement center or hardware store.)
5. No curbside pick up of grass. Grass may be brought to the recycling center.
6. Materials must be at the curb by 7 a.m. Monday of the scheduled week.
7. Each street is picked up only once during the scheduled week. Which day is governed by pickup volume.
8. Christmas trees will be picked up by ward during January and February at curbside.

• Ward 1: 1^st Monday of the month
• Ward 2: 2^nd Monday of the month
• Ward 3: 3^rd Monday of the month
• Ward 4: 4^th Monday of the month

Late October through December

• Brush pickup is suspended. Leaves only are picked up.
• Ward 1: Weeks of November 6, December 4
• Ward 2: Weeks of November 13, December 11
• Ward 3: Weeks of November 20, December 18
• Ward 4: Weeks of October 23, November 27, December 25
