- Twice weekly collection.
- North of Route 46: Tuesday and Friday
- South of Route 46: Monday and Thursday
- Collection begins at 6:00 a.m.
- Place cans at curbside the morning of the pickup.
- Denville is home to raccoons and bears as well as domesticated dogs that are likely to pilfer garbage if it is left outside the night before.
- Cleanup of garbage spilled by animals is the responsibility of the homeowner.
- Cans must be removed from the street that same evening.
- Two 30 gallon cans (with lids) and one bulky item per pickup.
- Construction material must fit in the cans.
- Bad weather or equipment breakdown may prevent route completion.

- Holidays are New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Collection will be done the next day, i.e.: Monday on Tuesday, Thursday on Friday.
