• Office hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
• Maintains the General Assistance Program, a needs-based program for adults without children that offers financial assistance and Medicaid to those who qualify
• Takes applications for home delivered meals through the Denville Meals-On-Wheels Program.
• Takes applications for the Denville Senior Citizen Card (residents age 60 and older)
• Lends out durable medical equipment such as canes and walkers to residents in need.
• Provides back-to-school supplies for residents in need.
• Maintains a food pantry with nonperishable foods donated by local churches, businesses, and civic groups.
• Coordinates a holiday “Adopt-A-Family” Program in December plus food drives and distributions throughout the year.
• Operates in conjunction with a Local Assistance Board appointed by the Mayor.
